  • Preheat The Oven
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8x8-inch baking dish.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients
    In a large mixing bowl, whisk together cornmeal, almond flour, flaxseed, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Mix Wet Ingredients
    In another bowl, whisk eggs, almond milk, yogurt, olive oil, honey, and applesauce until smooth.
  • Combine The Wet & Dry Ingredients
    Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Add In Optional Boosters
    Stir in any optional boosters if using. Try adding collagen peptides, hemp seeds, chia seeds, or turmeric-spiced walnuts or pecans.
  • Bake
    Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top. Bake for 28–32 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool & Serve
    Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
