Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups pineapple (diced small)
  • ½ bell pepper, red (finely chopped)
  • ¼ cup onion, red (finely chopped)
  • 1 jalapeño (seeds removed and finely diced (use more if you love heat!)
  • ¼ cup cilantro, fresh (chopped)
  • 1 juice lime
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Optional Ingredients:

  • 1 clove garlic, fresh (minced)
  • ½ avocado diced (adds creaminess and healthy fats)

Instructions
 

  • Chop the Pineapple
    Dice the fresh pineapple into small, even cubes. The smaller the pieces, the better the flavor distribution.
  • Combine All Ingredients
    Add the pineapple, red bell pepper, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro to a mixing bowl. Squeeze in the lime juice and sprinkle with sea salt.
  • Mix and Taste
    Gently stir to combine. Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as needed. If using garlic or avocado, fold them in last.
  • Chill and Serve
    For best flavor, let the salsa sit in the fridge for at least 10–15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled.
