2. Collagen Powder - You only need ½ a cup of my Radiant Beauty Multi Collagen Peptides. The addition of collagen in this biscuit recipe helps support healthy skin, hair, and joint health. It also increases the protein content.
3. Butter - You can use traditional butter if not vegan, or opt for the vegan butter like I used. Don't try to make this recipe with oil, they will become dense and not flaky or fluffy.
4. Coconut Milk - Good source of potassium to help regulate blood pressure. Coconut milk also contains lauric acid, a medium-chain fatty acid shown to have anti-inflammatory effects on the body.
5. Egg - Adds structure and helps bind the gluten-free ingredients together.
6. Maple Syrup - You can swap this out for your favorite sweetener of choice. Stevia also works well. I prefer the maple syrup for a depth of flavor and added minerals.
